You might occasionally see this kind of amusement park-style forest train at a night market. There’s no set departure time, it starts when enough people are on board. Like many amusement rides, it offers a moment of leisure. We take on the roles of conductor or passenger for a short time, and within that loop, the journey can become any imagined scenario.
Travel is a kind of movement where experience and meaning develop simultaneously. I hope to create a form of movement that, like other trains, connects the prosperity of a generation and highlights the pace of the times. Amidst the leisure made possible by social success, it becomes a way to practice finding a beginning for the end of life.
The artists attempts to use a model simulation approach to simulate real things that are disguised and superficial. The aim is to reflect the various dilemmas and issues of contemporary life, prompting people to re-examine the environments they take for granted to evoke the personal life narratives behind the imitated objects, and in doing so, bringing forth broader social concerns.
