About this project
我們帶著很多故事，像是懂很多的人，
我們說著很多故事，像是走很遠的人，
懂很多的人不見得擅長說故事，
會說故事的人則不管走得再遠，
都得像從沒離開過。
總有些帶不走的故事，
像宇宙般，不斷膨脹，
像夢境般，平行時空，
像聽著泡泡傾訴般的洩氣，輕輕的，
又或者，那早已不是故事，
只是隨波的海風而已。
We carry many stories, as if we know a lot,
We tell many stories, as if we have traveled far,
Those who know a lot are not necessarily good at telling stories,
Those who can tell stories, no matter how far they have traveled,
Must seem as if they have never left.
There are always some stories that cannot be taken away,
Like the universe, continuously expanding,
Like a dream, a parallel dimension,
Like the gentle deflation of bubbles softly confiding,
Or maybe, it’s no longer a story at all,
Just the sea breeze with the waves.

1984年生於臺灣臺南，成長於嘉義。現居住及創作於臺北。
陳敬元的藝術創作以繪畫作為感知的延伸，描繪片段化的經驗與當代社會中複雜且有張力的場景。他的作品經常探索個人與集體記憶的交錯點，挖掘並展現潛藏於日常之下的微妙情感與不安定感。
作品中尤其關注歷史事件、文化象徵和社會現象，將之以詩意化的視覺敘事方式呈現。
Chen Ching Yuan was born in 1984 in Tainan, Taiwan, and grew up in Chiayi. He currently lives and works in Taipei.
Artistic creations depict fragmented experiences and the complex, tension-rich scenes of contemporary society. The works explore the intertwining of individual and collective memory, uncovering and revealing the subtle emotions and unstable feelings hidden in everyday life. They focus on historical events, cultural symbols, and social phenomena, presented through poetic visual narrative.
