Ordinary doorpost lights, when lit at night, scatter warm yellow light that spreads out to illuminate the surrounding area; like guards, they mark the coordinates of boundaries. Anthropomorphizing the form of these doorpost lights and scattering them throughout the forest, multiple sets of lights are given varied postures and placements, each responding to different emotional states and relational dynamics.
Amplifying everyday perceptions through sculpture, found objects, and spatial installations as a form of response. With a keen spatial awareness and a sharp eye for observing urban environments, the artist seeks out discarded or marginal objects in the corners of the city. These urban fragments are transformed into the central subjects of the work, responding to the condition of the space itself.
