將古典的宗教信仰與當代或未來科技的可能想像,進行結合。互動式的程式規劃,讓作品得以在觀者經過時產生動態反應,古典神話裡的超自然神蹟或反應,和當代互動科技裝置構成了一組關於認識與詮釋系統的對應關係。古典神話中所應允的奇蹟在此刻由真實的科技技術予以實現。《神轎》從而對於「信仰」這個架構人類內在信念的整個系統知識與詮釋,提出一個看似遊戲卻又深刻的提問。人類在科技中兌現了宗教裡的奇蹟,然而,心靈與生命的意義是否得到昇華?而當宗教的奇蹟已然被科技取代時,又該何去何從?
Combining classical religious beliefs with contemporary or futuristic technological imagination, this work uses interactive programming to create dynamic responses as viewers pass by. Supernatural miracles or reactions from ancient myths correspond with modern interactive technology installations, forming a dialogue about systems of knowledge and interpretation. The miracles promised in classical mythology are realized here through real technological means. “Automation” thus poses a seemingly playful yet profound question about the entire system of knowledge and interpretation that structures human faith. Humans have fulfilled religious miracles through technology, but has the meaning of spirit and life been elevated? And when religious miracles are replaced by technology, where do we go?

				1979年出生於臺灣宜蘭,現工作生活於宜蘭與臺北。國立臺灣藝術大學美術學系學士、國立臺北藝術大學美術創作碩士。近年個展包括台北當代藝術館、關渡美術館、臺北國際藝術村,並獲邀參與如德國維特拉設計博物館五年國際巡迴展、義大利阿索洛國際藝術影展等國際大展,以及V&A博物館蘇格蘭丹地分館、聖彼得堡博物館、銀川博物館、臺北市立美術館、國立臺灣美術館、駁二藝術特區等國內外多個聯展。其創作聚焦於透過生物與機械合體/混種等議題,創造共存於跨物種間的新生命形態,以在自我認知與外在環境的多重辯證,以及個人面對科技化地各類系統隨之而來的各種技術規範底下,反思人類地欲望如何保有其存在的價值和能動空間。
Born in 1979 in Yilan, Taiwan, the artist works and lives between Yilan and Taipei. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from National Taiwan University of Arts and a Master’s degree in Fine Arts Creation from Taipei National University of the Arts. Recent solo exhibitions include Taipei Museum of Contemporary Art, Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts, and Taipei Artist Village. He has also been invited to participate in major international exhibitions such as the five-year international touring exhibition at the Vitra Design Museum in Germany, the Asolo Art Film Festival in Italy, as well as numerous group exhibitions both domestically and abroad at venues like the V&A Museum’s Dundee branch in Scotland, the Saint Petersburg Hermitage Museum, MOCA Yinchuan, Taipei Fine Arts Museum, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, and the Pier-2 Art Center. His work focuses on themes of biological and mechanical hybridity and fusion, creating new life forms that coexist across species. Through multiple dialectics between self-awareness and the external environment, and in the face of various technical regulations brought about by technologized systems, the artist reflects on how human desires can maintain their value and space for agency.
