About this project

The end is a series of poems, fleeting dances, it is fragments of memories.

The signal connects, and a radio announcer appears. On this night, he recites poems, dances along with the music, and tells stories that feel both familiar and strange. These voices weave through a maze-like tunnel, and in the echoes of history, what is heard? What is forgotten? Where will the ripples spread to next?

This work is inspired by the fact that the tunnels at Yuanshan once housed a civil defense broadcasting station. It is used as a medium to evoke historical memory, creating a dialogue through the performer’s monologues and interaction with the audience. This allows the space to be seen again and lets the body’s sensations become a site of historical reconstruction, while also asking: “How should we remember?”
