The work consists of soft sculptures made from multi-colored fabrics, combined with piercing tools and silicone body parts arranged inside a suitcase, reflecting the family memories of street vending. Piercing is presented as both a generational craft and a cultural ritual of the body, reflecting not only its aesthetic qualities but also its underlying sense of addictive desire.
Growing up in a body piercing parlor, she developed a unique perspective on body modification. Working primarily in painting, embroidery, and soft sculpture, her art explores the symbiosis and transformation of humanity and nature, as well as the body and culture. Drawing inspiration from the wounds of urban trees, experimental animals, and personal memories, her work constructs metaphors about life and ecology, centering on the themes of wounds, adaptation, and rebirth.
