2022 年 英國雜誌 Time Out 公布了「全球最酷街道排名」，全球總共 33 條街道進榜單，其中全球排名第 4，亞洲第 1 就是臺北市永康街。永康商圈是以「永康公園」為中心，商圈原先聚集了許多臺灣小吃與餐廳，後來亦漸漸開設了不少異國美食餐廳、許多風格獨具的咖啡館，以及一些精品小店。由於鄰近大安森林公園，再加上擁有許多著名的美食，夜晚或假日往往吸引許多人潮前來。永康街緊鄰捷運東門站五號出口，隨著新莊線及信義線通車啟用後，吸引了更多人潮。
In 2022, the British magazine Time Out released its “Ranking of the World’s Coolest Streets,” featuring a total of 33 streets globally. Among them, Yongkang Street in Taipei City ranked 4th in the world and 1st in Asia. The Yongkang Business Circle, centered around “Yongkang Park,” originally became famous for its variety of Taiwanese snacks and restaurants. Over time, it has welcomed numerous international eateries, unique cafes, and boutique shops. Its proximity to Daan Park and its renowned food scene often draws large crowds, especially at night and on holidays. Conveniently located near Exit 5 of Dongmen MRT Station, and with the opening of the Xinzhuang and Xinyi MRT lines, Yongkang Street has become even more popular.
