After more than a decade of preparation, Play When You Get Old presents a collection of Panai’s most anticipated Taiwanese songs. Using borrowed objects as metaphors, the works delve into women’s narratives, drawing inspiration from Taiwan’s rural landscapes, flora, and fauna. The themes focus on the identity and inner complexities of women from past generations, expressed through Panai’s rich, soulful voice.
Taiwanese female singer, songwriter, and advocate for human rights and environmental movements, released her debut solo Taiwanese album “la-PO(Bat)” in 2023, collaborating with producer Ke Chih-hao.
